“Where dependability and quality workmanship matters,” Volkman Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning uphold their mission statement every day. We pride ourselves in meeting a high standard of artistry for every project we undertake.
Our attention to detail allows us to provide prompt, personalized service to our customers. We strive to exceed customer expectations through a high level of job performance stemming from 85 years of tradition and expertise in all types of heating, plumbing, and air conditioning services.
If it were not for Bill's his hard work and dedication, we would not be here today. Located initially at 207 S. 3rd Street in Norfolk, we were the leader in residential and commercial projects pioneering the way for new technology. Throughout the 1940s and 1950s, Bill Volkman continued to grow the business and establish dominance in Northeast Nebraska.
Bill's unique ability to weld and install commercial equipment created opportunities all across the state. He flew to Ogallala to complete this boiler installation at the local post office.
In 1960, Volkman Plumbing & Heating became incorporated. Bill Volkman had two partners while operating the business until 1973 when he then retired, and day-to-day activities transitioned to its current president, Aaron G. Volkman. In 1974, with eight employees, we built and moved into our new and current location at 211 S. 3rd Street, here in Norfolk.
Throughout the 1980s, steady growth paved the way for booming business into the early 1990s. We continued to add on to our current location and increase employees. Today, we operate 20 service vehicles and staff nearly 35 employees.
